The E&S Grounding Reliability Program (GRP) is a structured, ongoing maintenance and evaluation framework designed to ensure that your facility's grounding system remains safe, compliant, and fully functional throughout its operational life. Grounding systems degrade over time due to soil corrosion, mechanical damage, theft, and changing facility loads — and a failed grounding system can result in equipment damage, personnel injury, or fatality.

This document describes the components of the GRP, including periodic field testing using fall-of-potential and clamp-on testing methods, visual inspections, CDEGS-based computer modeling updates, and comparison against current IEEE and NFPA standards. The program is scalable for single facilities or large portfolios of substations, solar farms, data centers, and industrial plants.
