Purpose and Scope. The STRATIFY™ Soil Resistivity Calculator (the "Calculator") is powered by E&S Grounding Solutions' proprietary multi-layer soil inversion engine, which implements the IEEE Standard 81-2025 Annex B methodology using the Wenner four-pin measurement method to resolve True Formation Resistivity™ (TFR™) layer parameters from field measurements. The Calculator and all reports it generates are provided for informational and preliminary engineering estimation purposes only.
Not Professional Engineering Services. Use of the Calculator does not constitute, and shall not be construed as, the provision of professional engineering services, electrical engineering consulting, geotechnical analysis, or any other licensed professional service. Output from the Calculator is not a substitute for a full engineering analysis, site investigation, or professional report prepared and stamped by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
Human Safety — Mandatory Professional Review. Grounding system design, step and touch voltage analysis, fault current calculations, and all other work that directly or indirectly affects human safety MUST be reviewed, verified, and approved by a qualified, licensed Professional Engineer before being used in any design, specification, construction, or operational decision.
