Refund Policy

1. Overview

E&S Grounding Solutions, Inc. ("E&S," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing high-quality electrical grounding engineering training and technical publications. We understand that plans change, and we have designed this policy to be fair to all parties. Please read this policy carefully before completing any purchase.

2. Physical Product Returns

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your order. However, if you are not completely satisfied with a physical product for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or store credit. Please review the terms below.

2a. Return Eligibility

All returns must be postmarked within ten (10) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Training products already actively used, unless E&S fails to deliver promised content.
  • Any services or products obtained by activating third-party links found on the E&S website.
  • Digital downloads and electronically delivered publications (see Section 4 below).

2b. Return Process (RMA)

To return a physical item, please email customer service at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving your RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging along with the return form provided, and mail your return to:

Return shipping charges will be paid or reimbursed by us for items returned due to defect, damage, or our error. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

2c. Refund Processing

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your refund. Please allow at least ten (10) business days from our receipt of the item to process your return. Refunds may take one to two billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

2d. Defective or Damaged Products

For defective or damaged products, please contact us at (310) 318-7151 or [email protected] to arrange a refund or exchange.

3. Training Course Registrations

3a. Cancellations by the Registrant

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with the subject line "Training Cancellation — [Your Name] — [Course Date]."

3b. Rescheduling by the Registrant

Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with the subject line "Training Reschedule — [Your Name] — [Course Date]." Account credits issued under this policy are valid for one (1) year from the original course date and may be applied toward any future E&S training product.

Important: Once a Buyer has elected to reschedule a confirmed registration rather than cancel it, no subsequent refund of any amount will be provided under any circumstances, regardless of whether the rescheduled course is later cancelled by the Buyer.

3c. Substitutions

You may substitute another attendee at any time prior to the course start date at no charge. Please notify us in writing with the substitute attendee's full name, email address, job title, and company.

3d. Cancellations or Rescheduling by E&S Grounding Solutions

E&S Grounding Solutions reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any training event due to insufficient enrollment (minimum eight (8) confirmed registrations required per course from all sources), instructor illness or unavailability, force majeure, or other circumstances reasonably beyond our direct control. E&S will make every reasonable effort to provide at least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice prior to the scheduled course start; however, in some circumstances notice may be less than 24 hours. In the event of a cancellation or reschedule by E&S, registered participants will have the option of: (a) a full refund of all fees paid, or (b) transfer of their registration to a future rescheduled session, typically within ninety (90) days of the original date, at no additional charge. E&S cannot be held liable for any travel, lodging, or other costs, penalties, or extended damages incurred by participants in connection with a cancelled or rescheduled event beyond the original registration fee paid.

3e. IEEE Credentialing Program Certificates

The optional IEEE Credentialing Program certificate fee is non-refundable once the course has been held, as the certificate application is submitted to IEEE on behalf of the attendee at that time.

4. Technical Publications and Whitepapers

All sales of digital technical publications, whitepapers, and downloadable documents are final and non-refundable. Because these products are delivered electronically and are immediately accessible upon payment, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds once the download link has been provided.

If you experience a technical problem accessing your purchased document, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly.

5. Engineering Consulting Services

Refund terms for engineering consulting engagements are governed by the individual Statement of Work (SOW) or contract executed between E&S Grounding Solutions and the client. In the absence of a specific refund clause in the executed agreement, all fees paid for work already performed are non-refundable.

6. How to Request a Refund

Please include your full name, email address, order or registration number, and a brief description of your request. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their credit card issuer. We are committed to resolving disputes promptly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting E&S may result in the suspension of your account and access to future training events and publications.

8. Changes to This Policy

E&S Grounding Solutions reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
